our creative is based on targeting 3 pillars of our industry by showcasing 3 specific environments to show from within how the light behaves in each given scenario. The idea is to show the stunning effect of the lights through the lens and most importantly pull back to show the professional Film set adding a different dimension and showING the light in action.

WE FOLLOW 2 CHARACTERS THROUGH THREE DIFFERENT ENVIRONMENTS/ SCENARIOS.
Set up 01 – Music Stage – Targeting Large sound stages
OUR SUBJECTS ARE PERFORMING ON STAGE IN A FAST PACED EXHILARATING ATMOSPHERE. THE GEMINI 2×1 PANELS ARE NOT ONLY PART OF A LARGE LIGHTING ARRAY BUT ALSO BEING USED AS PART OF THE MUSIC STAGE ITSELF AS A BACK DROP OF COLOURED PANELS. WHEN THE CAMERA “PULLS BACK” TO REVEAL THE BEHIND THE SCENES, WE SEE THE GEMINI 2×1 AS PART OF THE STAGE AND THE LIGHTING ARRAY FIXTURE. HERE WE WILL SHOWCASE THE COLOUR SPECTRUMS OF THE LIGHT AND THEIR DMX CONTROL AS WELL AS IPAD FUNCTIONALITY.
Intention: To show that the light should be the preferred choice for Large Sound Stage and Studio set ups
Set Up 02 – Outdoor Night Scene – Targeting Commercial DoPs by using a Product (Car)
THE 2 MUSICIANS EXIT THE STAGE FROM THE PREVIOUS SCENE AND ARE HEADING TO A SPORTS CAR PARKED OUTSIDE. SIGNING AUTOGRAPHS ON THE WAY. THE CAMERA FOCUSES NOT ONLY ON OUR ACTORS BUT THE BEAUTIFUL CONTOURS OF THE CAR. WHEN WE REVEAL THE BTS THE GEMINI IS BEING USED WITH A GEENY BOOM OR CRANE SET UP IN A LAREG TOP LIGHT ILLUMINATING THE SCENE THROUGH A LARGE SILK.
Intention: To show that the light is not only perfect for large spaces and Sound Stages but also should be the number one choice for large scale commercial productions.
Set Up 03 – Indoor LOFT Scene – Targeting Cinema Professionals
THE 2 MUSICIANS HAVE NOW ARRIVED AT THEIR APARTMENT. THEY ARE LAUGHING AND GETTING CLOSER AND MORE COMFORTABLE TOGETHER, HERE WE EXPERIENCE THE CHEMISTRY BETWEEN THEM. PULLING BACK WE REVEAL HOW THE LIGHTS HAVE BEEN USED IN A SMALLER MORE INTIMATE SET UP, SHOWCASING SKIN TONES.
Intention: To show how the light reacts with Skin and focus more on artful lighting and human connection specifically targeting DoPs in high end cinema productions.
CONNECTED THREAD IS THE CHEMISTRY THAT BUILDS BETWEEN THE 2 CHARACTERS. THE VIEWER WILL BE ABLE TO TELL THEY HARMONISE WELL WHEN PERFORMING. THEN IT BECOMES APPARENT THERE IS AN EMOTIONAL TENSION WHEN THEY GET IN THE CAR TOGETHER AND THEN REACHES ITS PEAK AT THE APARTMENT.
IN ADDITION WITH CLEVERLY HIDDEN TRANSITIONS, A SINGLE STRING OF DIALOGUE COULD CARRY THROUGH THE NARRATIVE AND ALL 3 SET-UPS TO HELP THE FLOW.
THIS CREATIVE ALSO LENDS ITSELF WELL FOR ON-SCREEN GRAPHICS TO HIGHLIGHT CERTAIN FEATURES OF THE NEW LIGHT AND/OR POSSIBLE VOICE OVER.

POST PRODUCTION & COLOUR GRADING
We operate full, in-house post-production services including 8K resolution edit suites and colour grading facilities. Adding unique sound design twinned with individually composed music. Having everything in-house allows us to make any necessary changes quickly and at a minimum cost to you. The final films can then be delivered to you in multiple formats for any output. We archive to LTO7 which guarantees your footage for thirty years, giving you the opportunity to re-visit, re-cut, and add extra footage, to keep your content current and up to date.
PRODUCTION PHOTOGRAPHY
Along with our motion team, we also offer compelling production photography, which includes product, lifestyle, action, landscape and whatever else you might require. These images are retouched and delivered to you in multiple formats and resolutions to repurpose for your needs. Our full service film studio also supports both the stills and video teams.
Producing photography and film at the same time ensures consistency across the brand and is a service we champion.
HELICOPTER & DRONE AERIALS
Ember is pushing the boundaries of aerial image capture and making it accessible. Our fully CAA licensed drone pilots can capture stunning 6K footage, taking production values literally to new heights. Our systems are dual operated by a pilot and camera/gimbal operator with a live video stream to the ground ensuring we capture the perfect shot.
HIGH SPEED
Ember is one of the few companies in the UK to own a Phantom Flex 4K which allows 1000 frames per second at the best quality 4K DCI on the market. Our lights are spec’d for this image capture and our post production pipeline has been tailored to handle this unique footage with ease.
FILM STUDIOS
Ember operates a full service studio at one of its facilities. The main studio space includes an infinity cove with a 30ft ceiling height. Our lighting truss supports over a tonne, there are 3x 63amp power feeds and electric shutters for drive in access.
The space also includes: a unique first floor viewing room, 2 green rooms, dressing/makeup room, free on site parking, full painting, set building and carpentry services and full catering to suit all needs.
GRAPHICS, VFX & VIRTUAL PRODUCTION
Ember’s in house vfx team can handle a vast array of work including clean up, rotoscoping, 3D, 2D, compositing and virtual production. Our work has taken us all over the world and we are currently in production on some very exciting projects.
CINEMA ROBOT
Our Moco Robotic Arms are capable of moving at speeds of up to 5.4 meters per second with detailed accuracy, making them the perfect tool for precision filmmaking. Set up times and shot adjustments are rapidly faster with this new generation of robot allowing for more creative freedom and flexibility. Next level safety features provide peace of mind and confidence. Don’t become tied to the studio, our systems are designed to fit through a standard door enabling location robotics like never before.
